"Sat. 1/27 the occupant of our ground floor arrives to find a burst pipe producing flooding on what appears to him to be a biblical scale.  Step one, shut off the water, turn off the boiler and water heater.  Step two, call Sanitary.
After the call, despite your reassurances that help would arrive soon, despair sets in.  It's Saturday, a brutal cold snap just ended and pipes will be breaking like popcorn all across the city, Soho is overrun with tourists and, even if Sanitary gets here, they won't be able to park.  We should know better.  Less than 3 hours later, the pipe is mended and services restored.  Once again outstanding service from Sanitary/CalRay has saved the day.  Thank you."
